Uzm. Dr. Mahmut Duymuş was born in 1979 in Kayseri and completed his high school education with honors at Malatya Science High School in 1997. He completed his medical education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey's most established and respected medical institutions, earning his medical degree in 2005.
He completed his specialty training between 2006 and 2012 at the Radiology Department of Ankara Training and Research Hospital, gaining experience through an intensive clinical caseload. During this period, he received specialized training in critical interventional radiology procedures — including tissue and organ biopsy, and laser (EVLA) and foam (sclerotherapy) varicose vein treatment — at the Interventional Radiology Department of Başkent University Adana Yüreğir Hospital, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Levent Oğuzkurt.
In his academic career, he served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Radiology at both Kafkas University and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. In 2014, he conducted academic research on musculoskeletal radiology at Michigan State University in the United States, and in 2014-2015 he was awarded the Publication Incentive Award by Gazi University for his outstanding academic work.
Today, Dr. Duymuş continues to see patients at his private practice in Çukurambar, Ankara. He is fluent in both Turkish and English.
Dr. Duymuş is not merely a specialist producing raw imaging data; he embraces a "Guided Radiology" vision built on high diagnostic reliability — seamlessly combining clinical findings with imaging data to give the surgeon the clearest possible map before an operation, minimizing the margin for error. Integrating the microscopic and vascular anatomy expertise gained through his radiology specialty into niche areas such as hair loss and regenerative skin treatments is the defining feature that reinforces his hybrid, multidisciplinary physician identity.
